Holden congratulates Machinists for MAX roll-out
RENTON — Machinists Union District Lodge 751 President Jon Holden today congratulated the members of his union for their hard work and skills that enabled the Boeing Co. to roll-out the first 737 MAX on schedule:
“This airplane program has been on time since the start. That’s a testament to our members’ skills.
“We are so proud of the work they do every day, and that pride that they show in their work is what will keep the 737 MAX program and the Boeing Co. successful into the future.”
Originally formed in 1935 by hourly workers at Boeing, District Lodge 751 of the International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers now represents more than 33,000 working men and women at 52 employers across Washington and California.
