BAE Systems picks new U.S. leader
District 751 Members who work for BAE Systems have a new boss — Linda Hamilton, who had previously led the company’s land and armaments division.
Hamilton was named president and chief executive of BAE’s North American operations on Monday. The promotion makes her one of the highest-ranking women executives within the defense industry.
BAE Systems Inc. is the American-subsidiary of British defense conractor BAE Systems PLC. Its Redmond facility is part of its Platforms Solutions business, which provides systems for commercial and military aircraft.
